Throw a BreyerFest Watch Party!
Celebrate "Midsummer Fair" with an at-home bash for your friends and family!
We are so excited to be welcoming Breyer fans to Lexington this week! The Events Team has been in town since July 1st, and it’s incredible to see areas of the city spring to life as fans arrive in Lexington.
As we’ve mentioned previously, BreyerFest activities have been expanded into four days of the weekend, with activities getting started on Thursday, July 9th, before things really kick into gear on the 10th.
So, what is happening on July 9th?
At the Clarion
During the day swing on by to check out the Resin Renaissance and Breakables Model Horse shows, both happening until around 5 pm. Also happening during the day at the Clarion will be Will Call. If you’d like your QR codes printed for you, our Will Call team can take care of that for you, free of charge between about 10 am and 3 pm.
As well, if you’re a seller in either the Artisans’ Gallery or the Swap Meet, please pick up your packets at Will Call between 10 am and 3 pm. These include your badges and other important information and you cannot exhibit without your packet.
Starting at 5:30 pm, the Artisans’ Gallery will be open in the Expanded Belmont Ballroom where dozens of incredibly talented artists cannot wait to show off their work to horse fans.
The shuttle from the KHP (green route) and the Hotel Loop shuttle (yellow route) will both be running, starting at 4:30 pm Thursday evening. We encourage guests looking to come to the Clarion in the evening to take advantage of the shuttle buses. Be advised that the last departure from the Clarion is at 11 pm – don’t be late!
At the Kentucky Horse Park
The Alltech Arena is the only venue where activities will be taking place. In the morning, if you’re registered for a Thursday workshop*, those will be in the South Expo Hall. In the North Expo Hall, feel free to check out the Performance and Mini divisions of the Open Model Horse Show. If you do plan to visit the Open Show, please remember not to touch any of the models.
No other parts of the KHP will be open on Thursday for BreyerFest.
The activities in and around the Covered Arena, including guest horse stabling, Celebration Park, the vendor marketplace, the BreyerFest Store, the Special Run Line, the VIP tent, kids activities, etc are CLOSED to visitors until we open the gates of BreyerFest on Friday morning, July 10th. Please do not come to the main areas of BreyerFest on Thursday July 9th.
*all workshops required pre-registration and are sold out. If you are not registered for a workshop, please do not visit this area.
