Tours at BreyerFest!

BreyerFest is huge and spread out over acres and acres of the Kentucky Horse Park, so there is a ton to see all weekend long – and we want to make sure that you have the opportunity to take it all in!

This weekend at BreyerFest, our incredible BreyerFest Docent volunteers are here to assist you to make sure you don’t miss a moment. Kicking off at the Help Desk by Fluffy (our giant inflatable horse), our Docents will be leading three different types of walking tours around BreyerFest three times a day at 9:30 am, 11:30 am, and 1:30 pm each day of the 3-day weekend.

For new folks, if you’d like an overview of the event, we have an informative general tour that will take you to key areas of the event to learn all about what’s happening, from Celebration Park, to the Craft Tent, to Autographs, and more! The most comprehensive of the three tours, it will allow you to experience all BreyerFest has to offer visitors, including a quick visit to the barns to pet our incredible guest horses.

Want to dive deeper into the model horse hobby? Our hobby-specific tours will introduce you to some of our great vendors in the Vendor Marketplace that specialize in model horses and accessories, including B&B Hobby Kids, Maggie Bennet Sculpture, and the Kulp Model Horse Store. Next up, guests will stop at the Hands-on Hobby Tent to learn about all the different ways you can get involved in the model horse hobby, from showing your models in competitions to customizing!

For our horse-crazy attendees, the Guest Horses tour will take you straight up to the barns to meet this year’s celebrity equine guests*, including Corgi Hill Flinka, Vindur, Ojvind, Pyxis, and all our other guest and demonstration group horses! As a reminder, please do not feed any of our guest horses without first asking permission.

If you’re interested in joining any of these tours, simply show up at the Help Desk by Fluffy a few minutes prior to their start time to meet your guide – no need to sign up!  All tours are free and will last approximately 45 minutes.

*Not all guest horses may be available during all tour times due to their performance or autograph schedules, which are listed in the program.
