Volunteer Applications – Round Two!

This year, the BreyerFest volunteer application was divided into two parts.  The deadline to apply to support our Hobby Information Experts, Hands-on Hobby Demos, and Model Horse Show Mentor areas is now passed, but the application to support many other areas of BreyerFest is open!

If you’re interested in supporting BreyerFest in the Craft & Activity Tent, assisting at the Swap Meet, Artisans’ Gallery, Workshops, or Seminars, or being a BreyerFest Docent your application is now open until March 16^th!

Volunteers interested in assisting in the Craft & Activity Tent will work with both kids and adults to get the set up with everything they need to participate in free Stablemates painting, which is offered to guests during daytime hours all weekend long.  This position is located outdoors in the Walnut Schooling Ring at the Kentucky Horse Park – you can see the map in the Guide to BreyerFest here.

Helpers at the Swap Meet & Artisans’ Gallery will assist with crowd control and guest questions in these two spaces at The Clarion hotel in the evenings on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Volunteers in this area should have some knowledge of the event and feel confident in their guest relations skills.

Workshop & Seminar Assistants will be stationed either in the South Expo Hall of the Alltech Arena assisting with workshops, or in the Visitor Information Center theater assisting our Seminar presenters.  Workshop volunteers will assist with setup and breakdown for sessions, as well as assist instructors with various tasks as requested.

Our BreyerFest Docents will be stationed at various areas around the Kentucky Horse Park, including Help Desks and shuttle stops.  These volunteers should have good knowledge of the various parts of BreyerFest and be comfortable answering guest questions.
