Guest Artist Spotlight!

Artist Stephanie Blaylock has been a staple at BreyerWest and BreyerFest for the last few years and we are thrilled to announce that she will be joining us in Salina for our first BreyerMidwest event.

If you joined us for BreyerFest this past summer, you’ll remember Steph from her Fleabites! Workshop, which insanely popular!  We are happy to be hosting Steph for her BreyerMidwest workshop on Saturday, March 22, Pastelling Duns, and on Sunday, March 23 as a part of our guest artists showcase.

Steph is a lifelong horse lover and has been a model horse artist for over 25 years! Some of her career highlights include designing the horse color for the 2020 Breyer Premier Club “Vermeer” model, being a finalist and winner in the BreyerFest Best Customs Contest, hosting and judging shows, mentoring youth, and teaching various painting workshops and classes.

When Steph is not involved in the model horse world, she teaches riding at the Girl Scout-owned Circle C Equestrian Center in central NC. She also has a purebred Arabian gelding with whom she enjoys competing in dressage.

So, be sure to register for Steph’s Pastelling Duns workshop if you want to learn from this incredibly talented artist, and definitely stop by her table any time on Sunday at BreyerMidwest.  Steph will be happy to answer your questions and talk about what she’s working on!
