The 2019 Vintage Collector Club Exclusive Special Run
A Premier Club model in 2016, Karen Gerhardt’s Shannondell (mold #744) has already come in a number of appealing colors in his brief Breyer career, and has quickly become a fan favorite. The Vintage Club release of Claude adds another finish to the list: Gloss Charcoal!
Gloss Charcoal is one of the most striking of the Breyer’s vintage colors, first appearing in 1961. Disappearing in the early 1970s, this elusive color didn’t return to regular production until 1992. Due to popular demand, it has reappeared numerous times since then, including other Vintage Club releases like 2014’s Adios Amigo, and 2017’s Stablemate Foals Licorice and Jellybean.
Of the 500 pieces made, 30 will randomly sport a matte finish to honor the relatively rare charcoal matte Family Arabians. What finish you get will be a surprise
