Contests at BreyerFest allow fans to show their creativity and imagination with Breyer models. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just discovering the Breyer hobby there is a contest you can participate in! BreyerFest’s Diorama contest is perfect for artists of all skill levels. In this contest, entrants create a scene based on each year’s unique theme, for example, recreating a pop culture moment or their favorite Breyer memory. The Diorama Contest is open to VIP, All-Access, or Online Traditional Access ticket holders. BreyerFest’s Best Customs contest showcases the best of the best of the Breyer hobby where more experienced artists transform Breyer models based on the division they enter. To enter, you must be a VIP or All-Access ticket holder.

Winners of each contest are announced during BreyerFest weekend. Images of all the entries submitted will be displayed on the website throughout the weekend so all ticket holders can see the incredible pieces of art their fellow horse lovers created.

Midsummer is a popular Nordic festival that welcomes the summer solstice! Along with Midsummer, Nordic countries have a variety of fun and historical festivals and celebrations. Some celebrate changes in the natural world, like Midsummer, or some celebrate certain saints. Celebrate with us by participating in our “Nordic Celebration” diorama contest where entrants are asked to create a diorama, using any scale Breyer model (excluding CollectA) that depicts a Nordic or Scandinavian festival or celebration. Five (5) winners from each of the four age group divisions will win a glossy version of this year’s celebration horse, Corgi Hill Flinka.

From Walpurgis Night to våffeldage (waffle day) there are plenty of festivals or celebrations to recreate! Let your imagination soar! We can’t wait to see what entrants create!

This contest honors the best in Breyer model horse customizing - re-making and re-sculpting the model itself, awesome finish work, and superb tack. Artists will show off their skills by entering one of six different divisions, all showcasing a different skill. From tack making to extreme customs, where a Breyer model is resculpted into a new piece, the artwork displayed in this contest is the perfect place to show off your talent to fellow horse and Breyer lovers. Prizes include an Exclusive Breyer Traditional scale special model and rosette to first place winners and a unique Stablemates model plus rosette for second and third place for winners in each Division.
