Acrylic "paint pours" are all the rage right now, and as it turns out, it works fantastic on Breyer model horses too! Using a special pouring medium and acrylic paint, this project will help you create a colorful, swirling pattern over the surface of your Breyer model. Let your imagination run wild with all of the possible color combinations you can create! A special thanks goes out to Kristen of KNC Equine Art, who created this video tutorial for us.
Recommended Supply List:
Acrylic paints (high flow/soft body acrylics are best)
Liquitex Pouring Medium, Gloss
Basecoated model horse
The base color may show through on your final painted model, so pick a color you like!
Plastic cups
Disposable gloves
Foil baking sheet (or other surface to catch extra paint)
Paint stirrers/popsicle sticks
Plastic/metal sheet (to rest models on while drying)
